Our Nineteenth Fest at

smallfandomfest is now open for prompt submission!

We don’t think we’re the only ones excited at the prospect of getting a bunch of new fanfic and fanart in our favorite small fandoms. By now you know what we need you to do to make that happen: you have to submit loads of prompts to entice others to write or create art (including graphics, fanvids, and fanmixes)! And if you know anyone else who loves small fandoms, please point them in our direction.

We’ll be accepting prompts through May 21st. For more information or to submit a prompt, check out the Prompt Submission post on LJ | on DW, and then follow the link to the prompt submission form.

Prompts will be available for claiming on May 23rd.

Summary: Mike was a werewolf, Henry was a vampire, so Mike didn’t trust Henry on principle. They were working together to stop a madman (madwoman?) from calling forth a demon, and that was it. The flirting was just Henry trying to get under Mike’s skin. And Mike did not need to get laid, no matter what Vicki and Dave thought.
Author’s Notes: Rewrite of eps 1.01 Blood Price part 1 and 1.02 Blood Price part 2; werewolf!Mike. There are some small references to the book (Blood Price by Tanya Huff) which I have included in the story because they were in my brain. Written for Round 5 of

smallfandombang. The title is taken from David Cook’s ‘Criminal.’

A 10,000-word big bang for small fandoms!

We currently have 41 fandoms represented by our authors (and still more to come), so check out the Preliminary List of Fandoms here and then head on over to the Artist Sign-Up Post to sign up!

Please don’t be worried if you aren’t familiar with many of the fandoms listed; since the challenge is multi-fandom and small fandom, we expect that you might not be. For that reason we have given artists 6 weeks to complete their fanart, and are charging authors with assisting their artists with character descriptions, screencaps, etc. Also, the types of fanart we accept is pretty broad and not limited merely to cover art and icons.

So, if you like to create fanart, including graphics, fanmixes and podfic, please check us out!

smallfandomfest using the prompt: Shelter, Shaun, What have I gotten myself into. I was looking over the prompts before claiming opened and this prompt called to me. It wasn’t until I was in the middle of writing the story that I realized I may have written something similar in the past. I didn’t go back to look, so this story is what was in my head now, which may or may not resemble something that was in my head previously. *g* Title from Adam Lambert’s ‘Aftermath’.
