The minimum word count is only 10,000 words and we give you plenty of time to get your fic written. Event Description: DCTVGen is running a month long event focused on the women of various DCTV fandoms - see post here.

Sign-ups start now to give people plenty of time to create for it. The aim is to have at least 1 new post/fanwork each day focused on the ladies of DCTV so that we have a wonderful month full of appreciating them all. Anyone who wants to take part can claim a day in August when they commit to posting something centered on any of the ladies of DCTV.

Any kind of fanwork is welcomed, including meta, recs lists, or picspam. It doesn’t have to be long - it could be a 100-word drabble, a few icons, or a character appreciation post - basically, anything gen-focused to show your love for the character(s) you pick.

DCTV fandoms means basically any show (live action or cartoon) that has a DC origin, so this includes a number of older/smaller fandoms, such as: Vixen, The Ray, Constantine, Black Lightning, Gotham, Doom Patrol, Titans (2018), iZombie, Lucifer, Preacher, Smallville, Birds of Prey, The Flash 1990, Stargirl, all DC animated shows… and any other tv show with DC characters in.

Event Description: DCTVGen is running a gen-focused gift exchange for DCTV fandoms, with gifts going live on Valentine's Day 2021. By gen, we mean fanworks that focus on character, team, friendship and/or family (no romantic or sexual relationships except as background). The exchange itself is being run on AO3, but you can find details on our Dreamwidth community here.

DCTV fandoms means basically any show (live action or cartoon) that has a DC origin, so this includes a number of older/smaller fandoms, such as: Vixen, The Ray, Constantine, Black Lightning, Gotham, Doom Patrol, Titans (2018), iZombie, Lucifer, Preacher, Smallville, Birds of Prey, The Flash 1990. Our Twenty-Eighth Fest at

smallfandomfest is now open for prompt submission!

We don’t think we’re the only ones excited at the prospect of getting a bunch of new fanfic and fanart in our favorite small fandoms. By now you know what we need you to do to make that happen: you have to submit loads of prompts to entice others to write or create art (including graphics, fanvids, and fanmixes)! And if you know anyone else who loves small fandoms, please point them in our direction.

We’ll be accepting prompts through November 21st. For more information or to submit a prompt, check out the Prompt Submission Post, and then follow the link to the prompt submission form.

Prompts will be available for claiming on November 23rd.
