Our Thirty-Third Fest at

We don’t think we’re the only ones excited at the prospect of getting a bunch of new fanfic and fanart in our favorite small fandoms. By now you know what we need you to do to make that happen: you have to submit loads of prompts to entice others to write fic or create art (including graphics, fanvids, and fanmixes)! And if you know anyone else who loves small fandoms, please point them in our direction.

A 10,000-word big bang for small fandoms!

Please don’t be worried if you aren’t familiar with many of the fandoms listed; since the challenge is both multi-fandom and small fandom, we expect that you might not be. For that reason we have given artists 6 weeks to complete their fanart, and are charging authors with assisting their artists with character descriptions, screencaps, etc. Also, the types of fanart we accept is pretty broad and not limited merely to cover art and icons.

So, if you like to create fanart, including graphics, fanmixes and podfic, please check us out!

Author's Note: This is a simple "What if..." scenario with some good ol' fashioned smut. Oh the heady rush of Michael and Nikita finally getting together. It didn't last long because this is Section and we're not allowed to have nice things. Yet, Michael and Nikita being defiant in the face of Section and meeting clandestinely is so delicious. It fills me with such forbidden love feels. I love it so much and I wish we'd gotten more. Madeline's line in the episode to Nikita about her having made the most of her final meeting with Michael just before we start the Gelman rollercoaster arc really struck me. It saddened me because Nikita was just on her way to meet Michael when she was apprehended. Like a lot of my LFN stories, I just wanted to give these two just a little more time together and have them have that last time together.

When discussing the episode 'Love" one of the hosts expressed her distate for the whole striptease scenario. That was later expanded on how such an intimate moment would normally be reserved for the couple and not for public consumption. So, this is me, trying to make a striptease that can belong solely to Nikita and Michael. It wasn't coercion but a natural playful extension of their burgeoning romantic relationship.

He's got it bad for her. The fact that Michael is the one to broach a very personal topic during a mission shows that he wants to progress his relationship with Nikita to the next level. I just wanted them to live in that place for a while. In this episode we also start seeing hints of the emotionally distant and confused Nikita that permeates the first half of season 4. The angst didn't end with the Gelman arc. It's only getting started.

I just can't get over how awkward it must have been for Michael and Nikita while they were living in that apartment. How much affection does Michael allow himself to show? How does Nikita gracefully sidestep Michael's advances? Or, do they stick to their respective corners and eliminate the personal element while they're there? Uh, the angst! I love it. Also, yay for writing a fic in a 20+ year old fandom.
